It is with a mix of emotions that we announce the closure of HippoBay after 14 incredible years of adventures on the shores of Lake Itezhi-Tezhi. It has been an extraordinary journey, and we are grateful for your unwavering support throughout this time.

From day one, HippoBay has been more than a campground - it has been a place where people gathered, created lasting memories, and enjoyed the beauty of the lake and the surrounding nature. This decision was not easy, but we feel it is time to close this chapter and embark on new adventures.

We want to thank each of you who contributed to making HippoBay special. The customers who shared their holidays with us, the friends who laughed around the fire, and everyone who made HippoBay an unforgettable place.

Even though HippoBay is closing, the shared memories and connections made will live on forever. Thank you for being part of this extraordinary adventure.

Note: For those seeking new adventures, we're delighted to inform you that Konkamoya Lodge will continue its operations and is ready to welcome campers looking to enjoy a night in a warm bed.
